A patent registered by a joint research team from the Middle Euphrates Technical University / Babylon Technical Institute and the University of Basra

As an embodiment of the methodology of scientific and research cooperation pursued by the Middle Euphrates Technical University, and based on the principle of sharing scientific experiences, a teacher from the Babylon Technical Institute and in cooperation with a research team from the University of Basra registers a patent entitled Preparation and evaluation of the efficiency of a polymeric alloy of ketosan and pectin loaded with antibiotics in the treatment of peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori outside and inside the vivo.
Where the patent was registered at the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control to enable them to prepare and evaluate the alloy in the treatment of peptic ulcers.
The participation of the Middle Euphrates Technical University was represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Esraa Abd Ali Hassan Al-Hawani from the Babylon Technical Institute – Head of the Department of Community Health Technologies, who indicated that the research team was able to produce the alloy and load it with antibiotics amoxelin and clarthramycin for use in the treatment of laboratory mice infected with Helicobacter pylori.
