As part of its ongoing efforts to raise academic standards and align with national standards of academic integrity, the Polytechnic College / Babyl organised a scientific and specialised event focusing on explaining and clarifying the ‘Guidance Manual for Preparing Compliance Reports for Conditional Institutional Accreditation’ issued by the Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation (ICIA), which is affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The event featured a comprehensive review of the key points of the guidance manual and the process for accurately preparing compliance reports in accordance with the approved standards and conditions, whilst highlighting how to document evidence and supporting materials to ensure the College meets the requirements for institutional accreditation and quality assurance.
The Faculty Dean’s Office emphasised that organising this event forms part of its strategic plan to embed a culture of quality and academic accreditation, and to train the relevant committees and staff to ensure the highest levels of institutional performance and compliance with the approved ministerial requirements.
