In celebration of the highest national values and as an affirmation of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, the Babylon Polytechnic College organised an official and public gathering to raise the Iraqi flag in front of the college’s Dean’s Office, with broad participation from academic staff, administrative staff and students, to mark ‘Iraqi Sovereignty Day’.
During the gathering, a ceremony was held to raise the majestic Iraqi flag amidst an atmosphere imbued with patriotism and pride in the nation’s sovereignty, unity and bright future.
The College Dean’s Office emphasised that holding such national events forms part of efforts to strengthen national identity amongst the university community and students, and embodies the commitment to keeping the Iraqi flag flying high in all academic and community forums, whilst wishing our beloved country continued security, progress and prosperity.
