As part of ongoing efforts to promote a culture of awareness and deepen ethical and health-related understanding amongst the university community, the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, in collaboration with the University Psychological Counselling Unit at the Polytechnic College, Babylon, organised an awareness-raising event entitled:
(Together for a Society Free from Addiction)
The event highlighted the health and psychological risks resulting from addiction and ways to prevent them, emphasised the importance of understanding these risks and choosing actions that protect the health of the individual and society, and reinforced the role of academic institutions in providing support and psychological counselling.
The event featured a review of the mechanisms and awareness-raising guidelines that contribute to protecting young people and building a promising society based on health awareness and good citizenship.
