As part of ongoing efforts to enhance staff competence and develop leadership and organisational skills, the Continuing Education Unit at the Polytechnic College / Babel, Middle Euphrates Technical University, in collaboration with the Department of Materials Management Techniques, organised a training and development course entitled:
(Administrative Leadership and the Work Team).
The course highlighted modern concepts of managerial leadership and successful leadership styles, as well as how to utilise managerial skills to guide and motivate work teams towards achieving institutional objectives efficiently and effectively.
The course also included a review of mechanisms for building an integrated team, strategies for conflict management and task allocation, as well as the enhancement of communication and managerial interaction skills within the institutional and educational work environment. The Faculty reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to organising training courses that contribute to the improvement of managerial and academic performance.
