As part of the cultural and awareness-raising festival organised by the Department of Community Health Technologies at the Polytechnic College / Babel, Middle Euphrates Technical University, a scientific and educational lecture was held entitled:
(Nutrition and its Relationship to Human Health), under the slogan ‘Food Culture… Towards a Healthier and More Aware Society’.
The lecture highlighted the vital importance of a proper, balanced diet and its direct role in promoting public health, preventing chronic diseases and boosting the immune system.
The lecture also featured a discussion and clarification of many common misconceptions and false beliefs regarding healthy eating habits, as well as a review of the latest recommended dietary guidelines and approaches for building a promising society characterised by sustainable health awareness. The College reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to support and organise cultural and educational initiatives and activities that contribute to serving the community and developing the educational and immunisation environment for students.
