The vision

The Department of Power Mechanics is one of the main technological
departments and the department is moving towards expanding the base of
technical education and its modern applications to be a leader in providing
accredited technical services, a spirit of competition and cooperation with the
community.

- The message

The Department of Power Mechanics adopts a general message based in
its general form on the framework of technical education in Iraq, a message
that it seeks to achieve every year to highlight the department’s distinctive
face. The general objectives focus on graduating national technical cadres at
the level of technical development to keep pace with rapid global technical
developments. The specific message includes the following – :
•Using computer and Internet technologies in education and training
•Activating the relationship with the private sector in the fields of training
•Following up on the development of curricula and training plans and then
updating laboratories and workshops
•Interacting with the market and the needs of the community in qualification
and training.

The aims

1. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Branch
Branch Objective:- Preparing technical cadres in construction and reconstruction
projects in the public and private sectors with professionalism in the field of
refrigeration and air conditioning and with high dedication .
2. Automobile Branch
Branch Objective:- Preparing specialized technical staff to work in automobile
manufacturing companies and providing them with experience in car
maintenance.
3. Spinning Branch
Branch Objective:- Preparing technical staff to work in the fields of spinning and
weaving in the production and textile design departments and maintenance
workshops.
