Babylon Technical Institute is facing the danger of drugs. An awareness seminar in the department of mechanical technologies

The Department of Mechanical Techniques at Babylon Technical Institute organized an awareness seminar titled “Combating Drugs, Precautions and Prevention of Its Spread”, aimed at highlighting the dangers of Drugs and ways to prevent them.

The seminar covered several topics including health and social impacts, legal measures taken to combat them and the importance of early awareness in limiting prevalence. The role of educational institutions in educating young people on the dangers of addiction has also been touched, and the need to strengthen community monitoring to reduce this phenomenon.

The seminar saw attendance interaction, where questions and input were asked about how to identify addiction-related behaviours, and ways to protect individuals from falling into this issue.

This seminar comes as part of a series of awareness events organized by the Institute, as part of its efforts to raise awareness among students about important social issues.
