Babylon Technical Institute organizes a visit to the nursing home in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan

Following its commitment to social responsibility, and in order to support the elderly group, Babylon Technical Institute, one of the teams of Al-Frat Central Technical University, organized a visit to the nursing home in Babylon Governorate, in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, in order to provide psychological and social support and strengthen human connections between generations.

And Lady A has presided over. M. د. Oras Khadir Abais, the dean of the institute, the delegation of the visit accompanied by a number of faculty, staff and students of the institute were warmly welcomed by the home-based, appreciating this initiative which contributes to alleviating loneliness among the elderly.

And during the visit, the recent delegation exchanged with the elderly, listening to their stories and needs, in a friendly atmosphere that reflects the meaning of respect and appreciation for this dear category of society. They were also given symbolic gifts and awareness sessions were organised about health and psychological care, the importance of caring for them and promoting social networking with them.

Mrs. Dean of the Institute confirmed that this visit comes as part of a series of activities aimed at promoting

social cohesion and spreading a culture of caring for the elderly, stressing that caring for them is a collective responsibility that requires the efforts of everyone, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, which reflects the meanings of compassion and human connection.
