Technologies is one of the vital and important departments in preparing qualified technical cadres that meet the needs of the labor market in the field of construction and building.
The department works to provide students with essential knowledge and skills in the areas of design, construction, and supervision of engineering projects, with a focus on practical and applied aspects that align with the technological advancements in this vital sector. We are keen on continuously updating the curriculum and providing an interactive educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
At the Department of Civil Engineering Technologies, with its two branches—Construction and Building, and Road Construction—we believe in the importance of integrating academic and professional aspects. We strive to build a generation of technicians capable of taking responsibility and contributing effectively to the development of infrastructure and serving the community.
In conclusion, I would like to thank my colleagues in the teaching and administrative staff for their continuous efforts, and I wish our dear students success in their academic and professional journey.

The core mission of the department is to prepare technical personnel who serve as a vital link between civil engineers and skilled laborers. This is achieved by equipping graduates with the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and applied training necessary to effectively perform their assigned tasks. The Civil Technologies Department strives to provide high-quality academic and technical services, positioning itself as a leading department that offers distinguished engineering and technical programs. It is committed to creating a recognized and outstanding educational environment, ensuring that graduates possess a high level of professionalism and a solid foundation in technical education, enabling them to contribute effectively to the service and development of their communities.
This branch aims to prepare and graduate specialized technical personnel capable of working in road construction projects. Graduates are trained to supervise project implementation, conduct field surveying tasks, operate related instruments, perform associated calculations, and draft and execute road maps. The program also covers the testing of asphalt—its sources, types, properties, and uses—alongside standard testing methods and general specifications. Students are introduced to the mechanical properties of soils, the design of road layer mixtures, concrete, and various construction materials. Emphasis is placed on ensuring compliance with specifications through quality control measures and on utilizing computer software to support these engineering tasks.
