In an effort to promote legal awareness and strengthen the principles of transparency and institutional integrity, the Department of Legal Management Techniques at the Polytechnic College, Babylon, hosted a specialised training course entitled:
(The Role of the Integrity Commission in Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption).
The course reviewed the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to the Integrity Commission and the legislative frameworks governing its work, whilst discussing oversight and precautionary mechanisms to protect public funds, and ways to consolidate the values of disclosure and accountability and to minimise administrative and financial irregularities.
This training initiative forms part of the Faculty’s educational programmes and guidelines aimed at equipping administrative and legal staff with knowledge of current legislation, thereby contributing to the State’s efforts towards good governance and the professional management of institutions.
