As part of its ongoing efforts to develop leadership skills, train staff and raise awareness within the community, the Department of Nursing Techniques, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit, organised an educational and specialised event entitled:
(Strengthening Women’s Role in Peacebuilding: Leadership, Negotiation and Conflict Management Skills for Peacebuilding – A Policy Framework for Decision-Makers and Government Leaders).
The event highlighted the strategic frameworks and key pillars for women’s empowerment in the fields of leadership and decision-making, whilst reviewing the latest scientific mechanisms and applications in negotiation and conflict management skills, thereby contributing to strengthening women’s active role in consolidating stability and building peace within institutions and society.
The event featured a review of a number of leadership themes aimed at enhancing the capabilities of decision-makers and leaders, underscoring the College’s ongoing commitment to organising academic and educational initiatives that contribute to the educational environment and the development of institutional and community performance.
