The Faculty Council of the Polytechnic / Babylon Faculty at the Middle Euphrates Technical University held its regular meeting, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr Ali Najah Kazim, and attended by all Council members—including the Deputy Deans and Heads of Academic Departments—to discuss a number of items on the agenda.
The meeting included a review and discussion of the progress of the educational and academic process across the various departments, as well as a follow-up on the equipment and service and logistical requirements in lecture theatres and laboratories. It also involved a discussion of admission applications for evening courses and an emphasis on ensuring the smooth processing of applicants’ applications.
The meeting also included consideration of student issues and administrative and financial matters, and the adoption of the necessary recommendations and decisions regarding these in accordance with the applicable ministerial regulations and instructions. Whilst chairing the meeting, the Dean emphasised the need to continue developing the educational environment and raising academic and service standards to meet the College’s aspirations and its commitment to the welfare of students and staff.
