About
The Scientific Research and Studies Unit is concerned with developing the annual research plans for the institute, in addition to discussion and study sessions, holding specialized scientific seminars, and participating in international, Arab, and local scientific conferences.

Upgrading scientific research to keep pace with development and serve the labor market.
Representing the Institute in international and local scientific meetings.
Supporting the participation of teachers in conferences, seminars and symposia at the global and local levels.
Tasks
Following up on the annual research plan at the institute by receiving research titles proposed by lecturers in the various scientific departments and submitting them to the institute council and then the university council for approval.
Periodic follow-up of the scientific departments three times per academic year to determine the percentage of research achievement achieved by each instructor. The research information is updated by publication or acceptance of publication and submitted to the university.
Follow up on holding discussion groups (seminars) with objective plans studied by the academic departments, unifying them, and submitting them to the Institute Council and then to the university for approval.
Follow up on holding scientific seminars and discussion groups for scientific departments by attending and participating in these activities .
Submitting an annual position report to the university at the end of the academic year, including the completed and published scientific research within the institute’s plan for planned and added research.
Continuous field follow-up of scientific activities carried out by scientific departments and taking the necessary measures in this regard.
1- Follow up on the annual research plan in the college by receiving research titles proposed by lecturers in the various scientific departments and submitting them to the college council for approval.
2- Periodic and monthly follow-up of the scientific departments to determine the percentages of research achievement for each instructor, provided that the research is published or accepted for publication and completed before June 15 of each academic year and marked in the computer and special records for that.
3. Follow-up on holding discussion groups (seminars) with objective and studied plans by the scientific departments and unifying them and submitting them to the college council for approval.
4. Follow-up on holding scientific seminars and discussion groups for the scientific departments through attendance and participation in those activities.
5. Issuing a quarterly booklet with seminars and discussion groups in addition to the completed scientific research for the purpose of informing the college council about them after documenting them.
6. Submitting an annual position at the end of the academic year for the deanship’s review, including the completed and published scientific research within the college’s research plan in addition to the completed research outside the research plan.
7. Submitting the appropriate recommendation on rewarding researchers who have published research, as well as paying them publishing fees and submitting a letter of thanks and appreciation to them and documenting it.
8. Marking the names of faculty members who did not complete their research on the scheduled dates.
9. Issuing a documentation booklet for completed research and specialized scientific seminars during the academic year.
10. Following up on the issuance of the college magazine periodically.
11. Organizing cultural relations with local and international scientific institutions and concluding and signing cultural and scientific agreements with them in order to work on achieving international scientific classifications.
12. Raising the scientific level of the college through its various activities.
13. Following up on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear safety and security procedures (CBRN) and taking the necessary measures to preserve human resources and property and keep them away from all potential risks.
14. Following up on the (QS) file and ways to develop the college and advance it towards globalization and achieving international scientific classifications and keeping pace with them.
15. Following up on the files of students sent by the college through missions, fellowships and study leaves and reviewing their scientific CVs and taking the necessary measures in this regard.
16. Holding scientific conferences for the college in various specializations and providing detailed supervision of plans, preparations, needs and means to ensure their convening at their specified times.
17. Continuous field follow-up of scientific activities carried out by scientific departments and taking the necessary measures in this regard.
18. Working on the academic and educational guidance program for students of all scientific departments and forming specialized committees to ensure the success of this vital and important program for the educational process.
19. Adopting a special program to care for outstanding students academically and scientifically and following up with the scientific departments of the college and implementing it in all educational stages and finding ways to ensure its success due to its importance in creating a spirit of competition among students and keeping up with their studies to be an incentive and to push other students towards achieving the goals set in the educational and scientific aspects.
20. Paying attention to the smoking ban program within the college corridors by faculty members, employees and workers in the college and conducting awareness campaigns in this regard to reduce this negative phenomenon that harms the public interest.
21. Adopting a comprehensive cleaning program for the college and its vital facilities, in cooperation with the heads of scientific departments and instructors, by working to educate students and employees in the college to contribute effectively to the implementation of this important program.
