VISION

The Babylon Technical Institute aims to create a pioneering creative technical educational system – comprehensive . with the participation of everyone that focuses on local needs and is responsible for covering the needs of the local community and employers from the intermediate technical cadres that are characterized by the skill, scientific and cognitive aspect and provides the market’s need for changing specialties. According to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which seeks to meet the needs of society, the Technical Institute of Babylon aims to be able to achieve this and assume this responsibility and to be a pioneer in the fields of education, technology and scientific discoveries, by providing a suitable climate of intellectual activity and innovation. And providing opportunities for fruitful scientific and academic cooperation, and the Technical Institute of Babylon is committed to the process of education and scientific research, not only in the academic fields, but also in the cultural and institutional fields.

Providing high-quality technical education that makes the target return from the learning process more efficient, distinctive and skillful and expanding its base quantitatively and qualitatively and laying the foundations of sustainable human development, professional ethics and responding quickly to the changing needs of society by keeping pace with scientific and technical developments, external openness and adopting education in order to meet the needs of the local market and society and ensure the quality of the targeted return of the learning process.

Objectives

In light of the positive reasons for the establishment of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, the Technical Institute of Babylon aims to:

1- Preparing technical frameworks at multiple educational levels that are scientifically and practically qualified able to deal with modern technologies and practice work once they graduate for prior knowledge of the work environment.

2- Completing the vertical construction of technical specialties to keep pace with major developments in modern technologies.

3- Spreading education and training, including lifelong education and improving its scientific and applied level, which leads to linking it to the reality and needs of different sectors in society and contributing to the events of changes in the concepts of work and production.

4- Keeping pace with scientific and technological developments by strengthening cultural and scientific ties with Arab and international universities, institutes and scientific organizations.

5- Continuous interaction between the Institute and various sectors, including universities and scientific institutions, in exchanging information, experiences, specialists and lecturers and benefiting from relevant state facilities to achieve common goals.

6- Enhancing partnership with the private sector through cooperation with companies and institutions to provide training and employment opportunities for graduates.

7- Ensuring the provision of high quality educational programs that comply with international standards.

8- Contribute to economic development by providing human resources capable of supporting the productive and service sectors.
