Vision<\/strong>
The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology is one of the main
scientific medical departments. It seeks to expand the base of technical education
and its modern applications in its field of specialization, build a close relationship
with various work sectors, activate the role of scientific research in various
development fields, and provide technical services based on the spirit of
competition and cooperation in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission<\/strong>
The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology seeks to disseminate
scientific and technical knowledge in the field of medical laboratories to graduate
medical cadres with a level of education that is capable of absorbing modern
technologies and supporting the process of scientific and technical development to
keep pace with global developments and to fulfill the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Openness to society in the field of medicine and activating relations with the
    private sector in medical consultations, training and technical qualification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Develop future plans to develop educational and training curricula and graduate
    technical cadres in the field of laboratory specializations and all chemical and
    biological tests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Focus on scientific research between academics in the department and the
    medical staff in the Ministry of Health to solve various problems between the
    Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Health and develop curricula and
    departments in a manner consistent with the reality of health and medical
    specialties in its cadres and develop them for the better.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Using computer and Internet technologies in education and training.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Objectives<\/strong>
    The department aims to graduate technical personnel capable of working in
    medical laboratories, conducting routine laboratory analyses, general chemical
    tests, urine and fluid tests, and operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
