Vision<\/strong>
The Department of Community Health Technologies is a branch of medical
sciences that provides experienced cadres for health care for the individual and
the community in addition to education to create a healthy environment for the
individual and the community. The graduates of the department serve all
categories and segments of society by providing primary, secondary and tertiary
health care and education against the causes of pathological and environmental
health deterioration, inspection and control to detect the suitability of human-
consumed materials and limit the development of pathological factors for health
deterioration, care for people with special disabilities and chronic diseases and
provide the necessary assistance to reach them to safety. All of this is achieved by
using modern learning techniques that keep pace with scientific development, the
solid practical aspect and efficient teaching experiences.
The message<\/strong>
The message of the Community Health Department is summarized in creating a
generation that is aware and educated in health and capable of containing crises
and finding immediate and long-term solutions to create a safe and healthy
environment, and providing the health sectors with trained cadres to provide health
care at all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1- Graduating an aware generation capable of managing and avoiding crises and
understanding the health needs of its community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2- Using advanced scientific methods in research, study and work in the health
sectors, such as using GPS systems and Google Forms and exploiting social media<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to collect the necessary information to evaluate the health reality and avoid health
crises before they occur, in addition to field investigation.
3- Paying special attention to the aspect of mental health, maternal and child
health, and people with special needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4- Working on developing programs aimed at health control of human-consumed
materials and raw materials used in the manufacture of medicines and human,
animal, and plant foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5- Enhancing the spirit of cooperation and trust to work as field detection,
education, awareness, and research teams to come up with the fruits of formulating
the idea of \u200b\u200bfinding solutions to the problems that plague Iraqi, Arab, and
international society.
-6 Assist the physician in diagnosing diagnosis and therapeutic nursing
while implementing health programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
